Anthony Power, the former Panache Chairman and a former senior executive with Playtex formed Panache Lingerie in 1982. Twenty five years later and Panache is one of the world's fastest growing lingerie companies. The Panache brands and contract ranges have become synonymous with quality, excellence in fit, contemporary design and value for money. Consequently the family business now headed by John Power, Chairman, is fast developing into a major International brand.
The company's design team, based in Yorkshire, England, is recognised as one of the most progressive in the lingerie business, with outstanding technical ability and creative flair. Superbra, produced for larger cup sizes, the Atlantis liquid filled bra, Panache Swimwear and the new Masquerade brand. To acknowledge such growth Panache has received a number of prestigious awards such as The Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade and the UK Fashion Export Award three times.
